1) How secure is NEBS PAYweb.ca? Can you Guarantee this?Rock solid Security is not only our highest priority, but inherent to our system architecture. We use state-of-the-art systems that offer us the highest security protocols available. The software has built-in, 128-bit dynamic encryption of the data stream between the server and the client viewer software. The data stream uses an encryption key that changes with every panel. This dynamically encrypted key is in active use within highly sensitive software deployments by many banks, insurance companies and financial services organizations around the world. Only you or staff that you authorize with a valid ID and password can access your Payroll system. We can guarantee your funds are secure because no funds are ever transmitted over the internet. All funds are electronically transmitted over proprietary banking networks. 2) How secure are my files? They are actually far more secure than you having them on your PC, Network, or at your office. We have the integrity of backed-up information, and replacement systems in a critical crisis situation. In fact, because our business relies on this, we are far better prepared to continue with system availability than your business. So, in the event of crisis (office fires, sabotage, hardware malfunction) your Payroll can still get processed, your files will still be in tact, and you can rest comfortably knowing that your employees will be paid on time. As well because PAYweb.ca is a hosted solution with password protection there is less risk of employees having access to private payroll information. 3) Should I go with a National Payroll Service? We are a national payroll service. Our system can process payrolls for any size company, in any Canadian province. Our system, in its standard form, can serve the majority of Canada's business community. However, if you require a time card interface, human resources interface or specialized file transfer, we have the ability to interface these systems with PAyweb.ca, just let us know.

Recent studies confirm that 85% of the Canadian workforce are now paid by Direct Deposit. This eliminates the cost of CHEQUES! We will deposit an employee's pay in accounts at any major Canadian bank, trust company, or credit union, and in up to 3 bank accounts. If you prefer, cheque printing options are also available. Another alternative for your seasonal and temporary workers is to deposit their pay onto our NEBS PAYweb.ca payroll debit card.
8) How are my taxes paid?Your taxes are submitted to the government electronically. Source deductions (CPP, EI, and Tax - Federal & Provincial including EHT in Ontario) are submitted on your behalf. It is very convenient. As well, you will no longer be required to remember to remit your source deductions, eliminating your exposure to government fines and late penalties. With NEBS PAYweb.ca your source deductions are remitted on time, every time.
9) How do my employees get their paystubs? Each employee receives a direct deposit statement, which is a paystub. It provides a detailed list of all earnings, deductions, taxable benefits and also provides the employees net pay for the pay period. The paystub also shows all year-to-date balances for each earning and deduction. The net amount is what the employee receives in their bank account or on their NEBS PAYweb.ca payroll debit card. You have two options for distribution of the paystub to your employees. It can be printed at your computer on 8½" x 11" (standard letter sized) paper. Insert each statement into an envelope and distribute on pay day. To save time and money some or all employees can receive an e-stub. E-stubs are sent directly to the employee's work or home e-mail address, and are password protected. E-stubs are more secure, and are a great option for remote employees.
10) What about Year End?The Year End process is very important. Before you re-set your system to begin a new calendar pay year, a set of reports and file edit functions are available to submit adjustments to the pay files.
